Nes Bozz was born in January 2006 under the company name Bozz.dk. The idea for the store was a long time in the making, after many years of collecting games for many different consoles for our own collection. The lack of retro console stores in Denmark had been evident for many years, so when the collection became too large, the majority of the collection was transferred to Nes Bozz and Denmark's first real retro console store was born.
The start was simple and ordering was done via email, after which the website was manually edited. However, it quickly became obvious that this solution was not user-friendly enough, neither for the customer nor for us. So during 2006 we really took off with a modern website that was much more user-friendly.
In 2008, the site went through a major update, which included a shopping cart, automatic updates and credit card payments. This solution ran until the fall of 2011, when after 2 serious hacker attacks during 2011, we moved the entire store to the current solution, where we are no longer responsible for server operation and security, but instead can concentrate on running the store and have a lot of cool retro games and machines in stock.
