The goal of the game is to guide a marble across an isometric playfield from start to finish without falling off the edges or being destroyed by obstacles. In the arcade version, a trackball was used, offering very precise control.
In the console versions, this was replaced by directional buttons, making control a bit trickier and requiring greater precision. On the Mega Drive, for example, the marble moves in the on-screen direction of the D-pad input. Pressing up rolls the marble upward, while the other directions work in the same way. Players must combine quick reactions with accurate control to master the game’s challenging levels.
