Kick & Rush was released for the Sega Master System in Europe, published by Sega under the name Tecmo World Cup ’93. Despite the title, Tecmo was not involved in development. The game features football matches with halves lasting 15, 30, or 45 minutes.

Single players can play through a World Cup with group stages, knockout rounds, and a final, while two players can compete against each other. Players can choose from 24 national teams, including Brazil, Denmark, England, and the Soviet Union, though the roster is historically outdated for 1993. Gameplay is similar to previous versions but with enhanced graphics.
