Hang-On is an arcade game from 1985, developed by Studio 128 and designed by Yu Suzuki. It is known as the first full-body arcade game, with some cabinets shaped like motorcycles that players could lean on to steer. Hang-On was built on the SEGA Hang-On hardware, which was later used for the classic Space Harrier.
The goal is to ride a superbike through five stages before time runs out, while avoiding obstacles. Although you start alongside other bikes, you don’t race them directly – instead, the challenge is to stay on the road and chase a high score.
