Secret Command, known in Japan as Ashura, is a top-down run-and-gun game for the Sega Master System.
In the US, it was released as Rambo: First Blood Part II.
Players control Rambo, armed with an M-60 machine gun with unlimited ammo (but only two shots on screen at a time) and a limited supply of explosive arrows to destroy tougher enemies like tanks and gates. A second player can control Rambo’s partner Zane, wearing a yellow headband. The goal is to fight through enemy defenses, reach the gate at the end of each stage, and defeat as many enemies as possible until the gate flashes. Players start with three lives and earn an extra life per completed stage.
Shooting is possible in five directions, while movement allows eight. Power-ups appear by defeating enemies or freeing prisoners, boosting shot range, speed, and arrows. Each life starts with five explosive arrows, gaining two per item, capped at nine.
