The galactic conqueror Gylend has kidnapped five of Earth’s defense forces and sent them back in time. Yohan and Ben must use the time device "D-Scanner" to travel through different eras and overcome dangers to rescue their comrades. The game is a top-down run-and-gun, playable by one or two players simultaneously.

Levels span five time periods: the Stone Age, the Roman Empire, the World Wars, the Age of War, and the Future, each with three stages. Players face mini-bosses, discover time tunnels, and defeat main bosses to free the soldiers. Characters can move freely, shoot unlimited basic shots or special weapons, lose lives when hit, and continue briefly after death. After rescuing all five soldiers, the final battle against Gylend awaits.
